How it works

A delivery model built for senior practitioners.

Sparx Services delivery consultants are independent practitioners who deliver engagements on a project basis. We handle everything upstream of delivery — sales, scoping, commercial terms, and client relationships. You focus on the architecture work.

Fixed-price engagements

All Sparx Services engagements have defined scope and fixed price. You know what you are delivering and what you will be paid before the project starts.

Proven methodology

You deliver inside a structured methodology with defined deliverables and client-tested playbooks. No starting from scratch on every engagement.

Commercial simplicity

Invoicing, contracts, and client management stay with Sparx Services. You operate as an independent contractor and receive a clearly defined fee for each engagement.

Who we are looking for

Deep Sparx EA expertise, a practitioner mindset.

We are looking for senior practitioners who have worked inside enterprise architecture teams and understand the real constraints those teams operate under. A deep working knowledge of Sparx EA is essential. Experience with the Microsoft AI ecosystem — Copilot, Power BI, Azure, Fabric — is a strong advantage.

You do not need to be available full-time. Many of our delivery consultants maintain other engagements alongside Sparx Services work. What matters is that you can deliver with rigour, communicate clearly with clients, and represent the Sparx Services methodology with integrity.

Core criteria

  • 5+ years working with Sparx EA in an enterprise context
  • Delivered EA assessments, roadmaps, or integration projects
  • Able to engage confidently at EA team lead and CTO level
  • Independent contractor status (or able to operate as one)
  • Based in the UK, EU, US, Canada, or Australia
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or Power BI is advantageous
